Police ID Pedestrian Who Died After Being Hit By 3 Vehicles
All drivers remained at the scene, police say.
JERICHO, NY — Police have identified the pedestrian who died after being struck by three vehicles on Wednesday morning in Jericho as Robert Dwyer, 43, of Hicksville.
According to Nassau County police, the crash took place on Wednesday at 6:06 a.m. He died at the scene, police said.
Dwyer was walking eastbound on the north service road of the Long Island Expressway in the vicinity of Open Street when he was struck by a 2023 Mazda, driven by a 79-year-old man, at 6:06 a.m., police said.

He was then struck by a 2021 Alfa Romeo driven by a 48-year-old man and a 2014 Mazda driven by a 40-year-old woman, police said.
All drivers remained at the scene. No charges were filed, and the investigation is ongoing, NCPD said.
