PSEG Long Island Powers HBO "The Gilded Age" Set

While the Long Island HBO backlot for the hit series “The Gilded Age” suggests an era lit by gaslight, it takes 21st Century energy to run the lights, cameras, and myriad support equipment. Working closely with PSEG Long Island to ensure production deadlines could be met, the HBO backlot inside Old Bethpage Village Restoration no longer depends on external generators but is now part of the region’s energy grid. The production is back filming at their location this week and is using power from the grid to light the set.
