Residents Evacuated From House Fire In Nassau: Police
One firefighter was brought to a hospital suffering from smoke inhalation, police say.

WOODBURY, NY — Firefighters battled a blaze at a home in Woodbury early Tuesday, police said.
Officers responded to the Fairhaven Apartments just before 1 a.m. The Woodbury Fire Department and neighboring fire departments extinguished the flames, police said.
All residents of the building were evacuated safely and had no injuries. One firefighter was taken to an area hospital with smoke inhalation, police said.

The Nassau County Fire Marshall and Arson Bomb Squad were also at the scene. The Red Cross responded to offer assistance to the displaced residents, police said.
The investigation is ongoing.
