Roadwork To Close Lanes Of LIE In Syosset

SYOSSET, NY — Two lanes of the Long Island Expressway will be closed overnight Tuesday as road crews make repairs.

According to the state Department of Transportation, the right and center lanes of the westbound roadway will be closed from 9:30 p.m. Tuesday to 5 a.m. Wednesday, between exits 43A and 42. Crews will be doing bride maintenance along the road.

Drivers who are on the road then should use alternate routes, or be prepared for traffic.
