Syosset Volunteer Firefighter Honored For 50 Years Of Service

SYOSSET, NY — Kenneth Johnson was honored for 50 years of volunteer service to the Syosset Fire Department.

Oyster Bay Town Supervisor Joseph Saladino presented Johnson with a citation.

"Kenneth Johnson’s service is a testament to the power of volunteerism and the profound impact just one individual can have on our community," Saladino said in a news release. "His 50 years of service reflect a deep commitment to protecting and serving the people of Syosset. We are incredibly grateful for his dedication and heroism."
