SLEEPY HOLLOW, NY — A unique program that helps support those who help support patients got a shot in the arm to help expend its laudable mission.

The Field Hall Foundation's program officer, Patti Horvath, recently presented a check for $20,000 to the Thomas E. and Alice Marie Hales Caregivers Center at Phelps Hospital.

The hospital says that the funds will go towards supporting the center’s programming, which provides caregivers with emotional support, counseling, access to social workers, and other resources needed in the current health care system.
