Places To Cool Off In Tarrytown, Sleepy Hollow As Temperatures Soar

TARRYTOWN/SLEEPY HOLLOW, NY — With heat index values between 95º F and 104º F this week in Westchester County, Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow have suggested several places to cool off this week.

Tarrytown:

Warner Library, 121 North Broadway:
Tuesday 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Wednesday 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Thursday 1 p.m. - 9 p.m.
Friday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Tarrytown Recreation Center, 238 West Main Street
The Conference Room will be open to anyone who needs to cool off between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m. daily this week.

Pierson Park Splash Pad, 238 West Main Street
Open from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Tarrytown Pool, 238 West Main Street
For pool members, the pool will be opening earlier at 10 a.m. on Juneteenth.

Sleepy Hollow:

The James Galgano Senior Center, located at 55 Elm St., will be a cooling location this week from noon to 6 p.m., from Tuesday through Friday. If you have any questions, call 914 366-5109.
