Sleepy Hollow To Hold Hearing On Demolishing 2 Village-Owned Buildings

The village is seeking state funding to tear down the buildings.

SLEEPY HOLLOW, NY — A public hearing will be held in the village of Sleepy Hollow about the demolition of two village-owned buildings.

The public hearing will be from 7 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. Tuesday before the town trustees.

Trustees will hear public comments on the village’s Restore NY funding application to demolish two village-owned building at 1 Pleasant St. and 193 Beekman Ave.

Restore New York funding is available for projects involving the demolition, deconstruction, rehabilitation and/or reconstruction of vacant, abandoned, condemned and surplus properties.

The session will be held at Sleepy Hollow Village Hall, 28 Beekman Ave.
