Sprain Brook Double Lane Closures Planned Over 2 Days In Westchester
The roadwork is planned in the southbound lanes on Wednesday, and the northbound lanes will be restricted on Thursday.

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — Never mind the weather, roadwork could could throw a wrench in your summer plans this week.
The New York State Department of Transportation is warning drivers to expect lane reductions in each direction along the Sprain Brook Parkway, in Westchester County, between I-287 in the Village of Elmsford and the Taconic State Parkway in the Town of Mount Pleasant over the next two days.
Northbound double lane closures are scheduled on the Sprain on Wednesday, May 28, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Southbound double lane closures are planned on Thursday, May 29, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

"Lives are on the line; slow down and move over for highway workers!" Drivers are urged to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in a driver license suspension.
