Volunteer Opportunities Of The Week: Rockwood Ramble 10K Helpers
Every week, Patch will spotlight volunteer opportunities in the Hudson Valley.
HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Each week, Patch will be highlighting volunteer opportunities in the Hudson Valley. This will be a chance to help your community and be an opportunity to give back — perhaps in a way you didn't consider before.
This week, we are putting the spotlight on some opportunities in the Hudson Valley.
Rockwood Ramble 10K
The Rockwood Ramble 10K supports carriage road maintenance at Rockefeller State Park Preserve. Volunteers can guide guests in the parking lot, cheer runners along the race route, distribute refreshments and T-shirts, or assist with the check-in table. Volunteers must be 16+, or 10+ if registering as part of an adult's team.
Date: 6/7 from 7-11 a.m.; registration closes 6/6

Sleepy Hollow Music Festival Parking Guides
Make-A-Wish Hudson Valley is looking for volunteers to help guide cars to the parking lot at the Sleepy Hollow Music Festival. For each car parked, the festival will make a donation to the Make-A-Wish Hudson Valley chapter—which in turn helps the organization fulfill local children's wishes!

Baby Bundle Donation Drive
Many families must make the difficult choice between paying bills and buying diapers for their infants. The Baby Bundle program provides these families with the essentials to give them a good start at parenthood and to keep their babies healthy and safe. Baby Bundles include baby wipes, diapers, thermometers, outfits, a book, a toy, and other baby products.

Research and Outreach Volunteers
My Sisters' Place is seeking volunteers who are passionate about data and spreading awareness of meaningful initiatives. Volunteers will be performing research, making phone calls, and updating spreadsheets. Volunteers must be 18+.
