Here are the top four stories today in Three Village:

  1. Robinson's Tea Room has closed its doors permanently. The business was located at 95 Main St. in Stony Brook. Owners announced via social media that the closure was due to health problems. (Patch)
  2. The General Election Day is scheduled for Nov. 8. Registered voters can go to various locations in Nassau and Suffolk County to vote early.   3. The Mini Maniac Youth Triathlon is set to rock the village this weekend! West Meadow Beach in Stony Brook is the place to go on Sunday, Sept. 25, to see our young athletes complete the challenging race, starting at 8:30 a.m. (Patch)
  4. Emma Clark Library announced the approval of the 2023 proposed budget. The plan passed by 420 yes, against 70 no. The library thanked the community in a note on its website. (Patch)

  • Stony Brook University: "Looking forward to campus changing colors." (Stony Brook University via Instagram)
  • Staller Center has released its fall schedule with three big names coming to Stony Brook. Among them are the prestigious Peking Acrobats from the Shanghai Circus, entertaining audiences worldwide for 30 years. The group will take on the center's stage on Friday, Oct. 7, at 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased here. (Greater Long Island)
