- There is a new salad place in the neighborhood. Supreme Salads is now open on Nesconset Highway, serving a variety of healthy options for all "tastebuds." The new spot is at 2460 Nesconset Highway in Stony Brook and is also hiring! For more info, please call 631 751-8050. (LongIsland.com)
- For those looking for an outing today, stop by the Night Of Stars Fundraiser at the Olde Towne Gardens in Setauket. The music starts at 6 p.m. with Lou Lomangino of Southbound performing live. All proceeds will be donated to the Agape Meals for Kids Foundation. (Patch Events)
- Three Village Student Michael Melikyan of Ward Melville High School scored high on the Advanced Placement Computer Science Principles Exam in spring 2022. Melikyan made it to the list of 196 students worldwide who earned every point possible. The exam helps students with college applications, credits, and placement. (Patch)
- A voting session to approve changes to the Town of Brookhaven district happened on Thursday. The map was approved and will be in effect for the next decade. Some residents expressed their concerns in a public hearing saying the new council violates federal voting rights. (News 12 Connecticut)

- The music starts at noon at Harborfront Park in Port Jefferson today! The family-friendly event features lots of singing and the Ginny Marie Schooner and goes until 6 p.m. Don't forget your chair/blanket. (Patch)
