New York Magazine Includes 19 Stony Brook Doctors in 'Best Docs' List
Doctors represent a wide range of specialties.

Among more than 60,000 physicians from across the greater New York metropolitan area, 19 doctors and volunteer physicians from Stony Brook University Hospital were named in New York Magazine's "Best Docs" list.
The 1,198 best doctors were chosen based on their qualifications and reputation; peer nominations; and interviews with leading specialists, chiefs of service, and other hospital personnel.
"This list of deserving honorees only touches the surface of our medical staff’s overall clinical excellence in numerous specialties,” said Dr. L. Reuven Pasternak, CEO of Stony Brook University Hospital.
The Stony Brook doctors represent a wide range of specialties, from cardiovascular health to obstetrics and gynecology to hematology.
