Police Seek Cosmetics Crook

A woman who detectives believe stole about $1,000 in cosmetic products from a Lake Grove store is being sought by Suffolk County police.

According to police, on March 1, a woman wearing a dark-colored jacket and pants stole various cosmetics from the beauty and cosmetics store Sephora, located in the Smith Haven Mall. The woman is described as having an olive complexion, dark hair and appears to be in her 20’s, said police.

A cash reward of up to $5,000 is offered for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. According to police, all calls will be kept confidential.
