SETAUKET, NY — Suffolk police are seeking the public’s help in identifying and finding a suspect they say damaged a teen’s bicycle in Setauket in February.

The suspect intentionally damaged a bicycle after an argument with a teenager in front of Target on Pond Path on Feb. 4 at around 5:15 p.m., police said.

The man left in a Jeep Wrangler, according to police.

In an image from surveillance video, the suspect can be seen wearing a blue sweatshirt, as well as light-colored pants and sneakers.

The crime has been criminal mischief, according to an alert from police.
