2. The Catholic Health Community Outreach bus will park at 120 Main St., Setauket (ECML parking lot) on Wednesday, May 18 at 10 a.m. to provide blood pressure, cholesterol, body mass index, and glucose screenings. No appointments are necessary, and no fees for the services. (Patch Events)
3. Joseph Garcia, from Port Jefferson, was sentenced to 40 years in prison for shooting Shirley resident David Bliss in broad daylight during an argument on March 24, 2021. Surveillance videos showed Garcia laughing after committing the crime. (Port Jefferson Patch)
