- Celebrate Poetry Month at the Emma S. Clark Memorial Library on April 27 at 7 p.m. during a virtual event. Poet Richard Bronson will present his work, followed by an open reading by members of the audience. (ECML)
- Port Jeff Brewing Company hosts the Spring Music Fest-Of-Ale on April 29, 30, and May 1! Come to enjoy three days of music, beer, and art. The event is dog friendly. (Google Events)

- A man shot a 16-year-old boy in a parking lot in Coram and then, accidentally, shot himself. The incident happened on Middle Country Road. The 35-year-old man was involved in an argument with the teen and shot him before, unintentionally, shooting himself. Both were taken to a local hospital to be treated. Criminal charges were applied.
