1. Setauket's Kara Hahn announced the suspension of her campaign to run for congress. The announcement was sent by email. In an interview, Hahn said she won't be on the ballot but will continue to work in the Suffolk Legislature Office. (TBR News Media)
2. A special four-legged friend named "Payton" waits to be adopted at the East Setauket's Paws and Claws New England Animal Shelter. Payton is a female baby, Terrier mixed, who loves kids and dogs! (Patch)
