  1. Robert Greene from South Setauket lost his life on Saturday morning when he fatally crashed into a tractor-trailer backing into a dealership in St. James. Greene was pronounced dead at the scene. (Newsday/Subscription Required)
  2. Four candidates will run for two seats available in the Three Village Central School District Board of Education on May 17. Residents will also vote on a $225 million budget for the 2022-23 school year. (tbrnewsmedia)
  3. The Catholic Health Community Outreach bus will be at the Emma Clark Memorial Library on Wednesday, May 18, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Nurses will provide blood pressure, cholesterol, body mass index, and glucose screenings. No appointments are necessary. Services are free of charge. (ECML)
  4. Comsegwogue Public Library will assist all searching for remote jobs! The program will help searchers learn industry standards and secure websites to apply. The event is set for May 19 at 7 p.m. (Comsewogue Library)

  • Three Village Chamber of Commerce invites all members and nonmembers for a full breakfast followed by the seminar, "PSEG-LI- Lowering Energy Cost is Critical." The event will be held on Wednesday, May 18, at 8:15 a.m. at the Rustic Loft in Stony Brook. Tickets are $20 per person. (Three Village CofC)
  • Monday at Racine Cancer Care salon is calling small businesses in the Three Village area and surroundings to donate to the cause. The salon is open on the fourth Monday of every month. Donations can be a food tray, baked goods, flowers, or anything you can provide to be a gift to our visitors undergoing cancer treatment. For more information about how to donate, call 631-374-6397.
