- Ward Melville High School students spread their wings to Atlanta, Georgia, to participate in the International Career Development Conference. About 17,000 high school students spoke with advisers and businesspeople to learn skills for college and careers. (TVSD)
- Gallery North is hosting the "The Winner’s Circle" exhibit to celebrate the artists who won at the 2021 Outdoor Art Show and Music Festival and the 2020 Carmela Kolman Fellowship program. The showcase will open on May 26 with the artist's reception from 6 to 8 p.m. (tbrnewsmedia)
- Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium was the stage for the Stony Brook University graduation ceremony for the 2022 class! More than 7,600 students received their diplomas, and were represented by biology major Ahmad Syed, the student speaker. (Greater PJ)
- Emma Clark Memorial Library will host a "Tick-Borne Disease — What You Should Know" seminar on Wednesday, May 25, at 6:30 p.m. The event will be educational for those who want to learn about Lyme disease or other tick-borne diseases. (ECML)
- Tabú Shoes is now open in Port Jefferson, just 4 miles away from Three Village! On May 12, the Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the only shoe store in the Village. The store opens daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. (tbrnewsmedia)
