- The Catholic Health Community Outreach Bus will be at the Emma Clark Library on Oct. 22. Starting at 10 a.m., Registered nurses will offer health services such as blood pressure, cholesterol, glucose screenings, and more until 2 p.m. No registration or health insurance is required. (Patch Events)
- The Three Village Historical Society has updated its fall hours for exhibits and gift shop. News hours are Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday from noon until 4 p.m. and Fridays from 2 until 6 p.m. (TVHS)
- Two 17-year-olds were identified as victims of a shooting outside the home of Republican gubernatorial candidate Lee Zeldin. Both young men are from Mastic and were injured during the incident which is being investigated by the police as gang activity. (NY Post)
