Trump Sister, Man Dead In Separate UES AM Findings: Reports, Cops

Former President Trump's sister died inside her apartment, according to reports, and a man leapt to his death in Yorkville, police said.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — Two people died in separate incidents on the Upper East Side early Monday morning, police said.

An elderly woman was discovered dead in her apartment in Carnegie Hill and a man was found dead on a Yorkville sidewalk after jumping from an apartment balcony, officials said.

At around 4:30 a.m., police discovered an 86-year-old woman unconscious and unresponsive inside of her apartment on Fifth Avenue near East 86th Street, police said.

According to later reports, the woman is believed to be former federal judge Maryanne Trump Barry — the sister of former President Donald Trump.

While police could not confirm the name of the woman found inside the Fifth Avenue apartment, police details match reporting from news outlets reporting the death.

Officials said that the 86-year-old was declared dead at the scene and said that there was no foul play suspected at this time, but added that the investigation is ongoing.

Hours later in Yorkville, first responders discovered a man dead on the pavement in front of a building at East 81st Street and East End Avenue at about 8 a.m., officials said.

The man, a 47-year-old man, appeared to have jumped from a 16th floor balcony, police said.

First responders declared the man dead at the scene, FDNY officials said.
