Bagel Mania: Third New Bagel Place In UES Coming To Yorkville
This spot is the second bagel-dealer from Brooklyn to stake a claim uptown, and the third announced UES bagel spot in the past two weeks.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — It's a new dawn for bagels on the Upper East Side.
A new bagel spot — the third announced in recent weeks — has put window coverings up at a corner Yorkville spot.
The spot, Olde Brooklyn Bagel Shoppe, will soon be taking over 1698 Second Ave., at East 88th Street and Second Avenue, a worker from the shop's location on Vanderbilt Avenue in Prospect Heights confirmed to Patch.

A large sign with the olde-timey logo over the front door declares "Coming Soon," according to a photo shared by neighborhood Instagram account, UES Things.
It's the third new bagel entry to the neighborhood over the past two weeks.

At the end of July, another Brooklyn bagel shop, Greenpoint's Bagelpoint, announced it would be opening next to a former Pick-A-Bagel location on Lexington Avenue in Lenox Hill.
And in early August, the popular Tompkins Square Bagel declared its intention to open up their fourth location on Third Avenue, also in Lenox Hill.
The worker in Brooklyn could not confirm when their new Yorkville outpost would open.
