Brearley Becomes Latest School Closed By Coronavirus: Report
The Upper East Side private school will be closed through spring break.
UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — The elite all-girls Brearley School became the latest to cancel classes Monday as a parent was being tested for COVID-19, the New York Post reported. The newspaper cited an email sent to the school community by its head teacher.
The school will be closed through spring break at the end of the month, the note said.

It follows closures last week by other private schools Collegiate and Spence, as well as Columbia University.
“Neither the parent nor members of the family have any symptoms of illness since the exposure,” the Post reported that the note said.
