UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — A quartet of dangerous crooks are what's on the menu for NYPD investigators, according to officials who released new details and images related to the shocking daylight attempted robbery and shooting outside of one of the Upper East Side's most popular eateries.
At first, police officials told reporters that it had been a pair of thieves who fired a gun outside of the iconic JG Melon on Saturday afternoon after a failed attempt to steal a man's watch.
Now they say twice as many thieves were involved in the brazen attack, and police have also released pictures of people they claim are connected to the scary incident.
