News of the opening originally broke in February, when building permits revealed Meyer’s plans.
Daily Provisions opened its first location at 103 East 19th Street, adjacent Meyer’s famous Union Square Cafe. A well-known restaurateur, Meyer is also the founder of burger spot Shake Shack, a global brand with hundreds of locations worldwide.
Is Daily Provisions the next Shake Shack? It remains to be seen.
