Elderly Woman Goes Missing On Upper East Side, Police Say

Police asked for help finding 78-year-old Ying Liu, who was last seen in Lenox Hill on Thursday.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — An elderly woman with dementia has gone missing on the Upper East Side, according to police, who asked the public for help finding her.

Ying Liu, 78, was last seen around 2:30 p.m. Thursday near East 66th Street and Third Avenue, about a block from her home, police said Friday morning.

Liu was wearing a red bucket cap, blue jacket, black pants and black sneakers, according to police.
