Fire Breaks Out In Carnegie Hill Apartment Building: FDNY
A blaze struck a seventh-story apartment early Monday morning, officials said.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — Flames broke out inside a Carnegie Hill apartment building early Monday morning, fire officials said.
Firefighters first got the call about a blaze inside the seventh-story unit at 118 East 93rd St. at about 5:50 a.m., according to a department spokesperson.
Nearly 80 fire and EMS personnel responded to the nine-story building near Park Avenue, declaring the flames under control about an hour later, according to the FDNY.
