Man Arrested For Attempted Rape Of 19-Year-Old On UES: Police
A man was arrested in connection with the shocking assault of a 19-year-old woman on the Upper East Side on Saturday.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY – A man has been arrested in connection with the attempted rape of a 19-year-old woman on the Upper East Side, police confirmed.
Quincy Burks, a 30-year-old male with no address, was arrested at approximately 6:45 p.m. on Monday, police said. Burks was picked up in the 5th Precinct, which includes Chinatown, Little Italy, and the Bowery.
The charges are attempted rape, sexual abuse, and forcible touching, according to the NYPD.

The victim was walking near East 90th Street and East End Avenue on Saturday, Aug. 10, at about 1:15 a.m., when she was approached by an unknown male individual who pushed her to the ground and attempted to rape her. A doorman reportedly intervened, and the man fled on foot.
The victim was transported by EMS to New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center in stable condition.
