Man Assaulted In Lenox Hill Over The Weekend: Police
A man suffered a head injury after an assault on First Avenue Saturday night, according to officials.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — A man was assaulted in an early Saturday evening attack on a Lenox Hill street corner, police said.
According to a police spokesperson, the details of what happened are scarce.
At about 6:30 p.m., a 27-year-old man was assaulted by another person near First Avenue and East 65th Street, the spokesperson said.

The victim suffered injuries to his head and was rushed to NewYork Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center in stable condition, according to officials.
Police could not elaborate on what led to the assault, if there was a suspect description, how many people were involved or any more specific information regarding the victim's injuries.

The spokesperson did confirm that an investigation is ongoing.
