Man Gropes Teen Girl On Upper East Side Subway Train: NYPD

Police said a man grabbed a 15-year-old girl on a Lexington Avenue train during Tuesday's morning commute.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — A man groped a teen girl aboard a Lexington Avenue subway train during the Tuesday morning commute, police said.

The victim, a 15-year-old girl, was riding on a downtown-bound 5 train approaching the 86th Street - Lexington Avenue station at about 8:20 a.m., officials said.

A stranger walked up to the teen and suddenly grabbed her buttocks, according to police.

The man then fled on foot in an unknown direction, officials said.

No injuries were reported and cops say the man is still being sought by investigators.

Police also released an image of a person they say is connected to the incident.
