Man Mugged By Door-Holder At UES NYCHA Building: Police
A man went from nice to naughty when a person simply exiting the building said he had no money on him, police said.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — A man was mugged at an Upper East Side building by someone holding the door and asking for change, police said.
At about 12:30 a.m. on Monday, a man holding a building door open at NYCHA's Holmes Towers on East 92nd Street and First Avenue asked someone walking through for any change, according to officials.
The person replied that they had no cash on them, police said.

In response, the door-holder then pretended to have a pistol in his jacket, and demanded money, police said, resulting in the victim giving him $20.
Police said the man then fled inside the building and that they could not yet confirm if the man was armed.
