Man Pulls Knife On UES Store Clerk: Police
A man stealing from an East 86th Street shop pulled a knife on a worker who confronted him, police said.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY —A crook stealing items from an Upper East Side store threatened a worker with a knife, police said.
On Wednesday at around 4 p.m., a man was shoving items in his pockets inside a cosmetics store on East 86th Street near Lexington Avenue when a store employee walked up to him, according to officials.
The worker confronted the man over his shoplifting when the man pulled out a knife, police said.

Police said the man then fled from the store on foot in an unknown direction.
