Man Robbed By 5 Masked Men In Early AM Lenox Hill Stickup: Police

Officials said two men restrained the victim while the others said they had a knife in an early Friday morning robbery.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — A man was robbed by a group of five men in an early morning Lenox Hill robbery on Friday, according to police.

The masked group targeted a 32-year-old man who was walking in the neighborhood near East 60th Street and Second Avenue at about 3:15 a.m., police said.

From behind, two men grabbed the victim while three others reportedly said "where's your phone? Where's your wallet?" and told the restrained man that they had a knife, according to officials.

A NYPD spokesperson said that the alleged knife was never displayed.

The crooks took off with the man's phone and wallet, according to police.

No injuries were reported, nor did police have any further description of the suspects as of Friday morning.
