Man Robbed At Gunpoint In Yorkville Building Lobby: Police

The crook pointed his gun at the victim and told him "you know what time it is" before the morning robbery, officials said.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — A man was robbed inside his Yorkville building lobby early Monday morning, police said.

A 45-year-old man was entering his building on East 86th Street near First Avenue at about 8:30 a.m. when he discovered that a man dressed in all black and a black facemask was waiting in the lobby, police said.

"You know what time it is," the robber said to the man as he pulled a gun from his waistband, according to officials.

The thief made off with a gold necklace and a wallet containing $112, police said, and fled the building in an unknown direction.
