Man Robbed, Shoved To Ground Near Queensboro Bridge: Police
A group of strangers shoved and stole $300 from a 65-year-old on Friday, cops said. They might also be behind two west side muggings as well

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — A trio of marauding thieves attacked a man near the Queensboro Bridge on Friday morning, police said, leaving the man bruised, injured and $300 poorer.
The trio approached a 65-year-old man at about 8 a.m. at East 59th Street and Second Avenue and hit him in the back, knocking him to the hard ground, officials said.
After stealing $300 in cash from the injured man, the three split, police said.

First responders treated the victim at the scene for scrapes to his elbow and back, according to officials.
In the previous week, the same trio had been mugging teenagers at a specific corner across town in the early morning hours, on West 63rd Street and Broadway, police said.

On Aug. 2, the group of three punched and snatched a wallet from a 17-year-old at 2:45 a.m.
And just days later on Aug. 8, the group flashed a blade at another 17-year-old at the same corner at 4:45 a.m., but the would-be victim successfully dashed off.
