Man Throws Brick At Sutton Place Whole Foods Window: Police

Officials said a man threw a brick at the East 57th Street Whole Foods on Sunday morning.

SUTTON PLACE, NY — A man hurled a brick at the window of a Sutton Place Whole Foods on Sunday morning, police said.

A witness told officers that on Sunday at about 10:45 a.m., a man walking on East 57th Street picked up a loose brick on the ground and threw it at the window of the Whole Foods grocery store, according to officials.

The man then fled west on East 57th Street, police said.

Officials had no description of the man to share, but said that the brick caused over $250 of damage.
