In May, Harpers Bazaar placed their eponymous cake on their list of the 27 Best Desserts In New York, alongside Big Apple heavyweights like Ferrara Bakery, Magnolia, Dominique Ansel, Levain and Breads bakery.

"Baked in-house, the cake itself is incredibly moist and the dense crumbs are massive and unreal," the esteemed magazine wrote, giving an honorary shout out to their Oreo pudding as well.

Mia Mostafa, who owns the shop along with her husband and parents, told East Side Feed that they decided to ditch their careers in sales and marketing and open a bakery during the early days of the pandemic.
