Nicked From Mack: $10K Worth Of Coats Stolen From UES Shop, Cops Say

Three men swiped the pricy outerwear from a Mackage store on Madison Avenue, police say.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — A high-end Madison Avenue outerwear shop had thousands of dollars of coats stolen from its racks on Monday afternoon, police say.

The robbery happened at a Mackage store — which specializes in selling parkas and coats that can cost thousands of dollars — at Madison Avenue between East 68th and 69th streets, police said.

At about 2 p.m., three men entered the store and grabbed coats from the store, according to police.

An NYPD spokesperson valued the coat-grab at about $10,000.

The men piled inside of a white Lexus sedan with unknown plates and fled the scene, officials said.

Police had no description of the suspects at the time of reporting and ask that anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
