UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — Enjoy the crisp fall weather while taking in some artwork this Saturday, as Community Board 8's outdoor art show returns to the neighborhood.

The Fall Art Show will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday on James Cagney Place, the pedestrianized block of East 91st Street that runs between Second and Third avenues.

Saturday's show builds off a successful inaugural event held in June at the same location.

Community Board 8 has been soliciting submissions for Saturday's show since August.

Alida Camp, who helped organize the first fair as co-chair of CB8's arts committee, told Patch in June that the board conceived of the event as a way to beautify the Upper East Side's scores of vacant storefronts, following a similar, successful effort on the West Side.

After finding that some landlords resisted the idea of hanging art in their properties, they turned instead to Cagney Way: a "beautiful street with trees and benches," she said.
