Upper East Side Swastika-Scrawler Sought By Police, NYPD Says
A man in a "New York" baseball cap drew three yellow swastikas on an East 61st Street sidewalk, police said.
UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — A man in a "New York" baseball cap scrawled swastikas on Upper East Side buildings, according to police.
The suspect drew three yellow swastikas on the sidewalk outside 420 E. 61st St. near York Avenue on June 23 about 10:25 a.m., police said.
The NYPD Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating the case.

Police estimate the man is about 50 years old, stands 5 feet 9 inches tall, and weighs 160 pounds. He is of medium build, medium complexion and has a salt-and-pepper beard, police said.
He was last seen wearing a baseball cap with “New York” on the front and a dark-colored long sleeve shirt with vertical stripes, said the NYPD.
