Subway Attack Leaves Man Injured: Police

A man was stabbed in the neck on a subway platform on the Upper East Side on Tuesday morning, according to the NYPD.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY – A 52-year-old man was stabbed in the neck with an unknown object early Tuesday morning, police said.

The stabbing occurred on a subway platform near E. 96th Street and Lexington Avenue, police confirmed, at approximately 3:30 a.m.

The victim was taken to NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center in stable condition, police said.

No arrests have been made, and an investigation is ongoing. Police described the assailant as wearing a green shirt and red sweatpants.
