UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — Two men brazenly robbed people on Upper East Side streets this summer, in one case being fended off by one of their victims, according to police, who asked for help identifying both suspects.

The first incident, on Aug. 6, happened around 4 p.m. near the corner of York Avenue and East 72nd Street, police said.

The victim, a 59-year-old man, had placed his MacBook on the ground while trying to enter his home, when one of the suspects walked up and snatched the laptop, police said.

Police described both men as being between 20 and 25 years old — one had a slim build and wore dark-colored clothes, while the second was last seen wearing a green shirt, police said.
