UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — A teenaged former employee robbed two locations of a popular French patisserie within minutes of each other on Monday afternoon, police said.

The two Julien Boulangerie locations, one on Third Avenue and East 72nd Street and the other on York Avenue and East 76th Street, were held up within 35 minutes of each other in the middle of the workday on Monday by a 19-year-old former employee, police said.

Police said that money was taken from each location, adding that the teen was unarmed and did not use force to steal the dough.

But he did use a fancy Mercedes-Benz to help him complete his busy afternoon, cops said, confirming that a car produced by the German manufacturer was used in each incident.

The first strike came at about 2:15 p.m., when police got a call of a robbery in progress at the Third Avenue location, officials said.

Police did not say how much money was taken by the teen, but did confirm some amount of cash was removed by the former worker.

At 2:50 p.m., the teen arrived to the York Avenue location, police said.

A 35-year-old female employee was behind the counter when her former co-worker barged in, police said.

The 19-year-old then walked right up behind the register and started taking money, according to a NYPD spokesperson.

"Don't get physical with me," the teen shouted as the employee, who recognized her former colleague, attempted to stop the cash-grab, officials said.

The man then fled the store with $347 in cash, police said.

NYPD officials declined to confirm that the two thefts were connected to each other.
