UES $1,600 Package Thief, Daylight Punchers Still Being Sought By Cops
Officials said that criminals from two separate Yorkville events in May and July are still at large.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — Police are still looking for the criminals behind a pricy stolen package theft in May and a bruising midday beat down in July, according to the NYPD.
Both incidents took place in Yorkville, according to police reports.
On May 12, a man stole nearly $1,600 worth of packages from a residential building on East 81st Street between York and First Avenue, according to officials.

Police said the theft specifically took place anytime between 1:46 p.m. and 8 p.m. that day. Images released show a bearded man in a black baseball cap carrying what appears to be a large iced coffee in one hand, and packages and an insulated food delivery-style cooler backpack in the other.
On July 11, a more serious — and violent crime — happened just blocks away on East 92nd Street between First and York Avenues.

At about 2 p.m., a dastardly duo pummeled a 37-year-old man on the sidewalk after some sort of argument, police said.
The man was punched multiple times in the face and was able to bring himself to the hospital in stable condition.
