UES Cops Arrest Woman On Probation After Burglary: Police
Police say they caught the woman breaking into a store and stealing purses.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — A woman on probation was caught stealing purses from an Upper East Side store in the middle of the night, according to police officials.
Allison Simmons, 46, was charges with burglary and criminal possession of stolen property, officials said.
According to a social media post by the 19th Precinct on the website X, formerly known as Twitter, Simmons was already on probation when she was arrested after she was "busted" for "burglarizing a store & stealing purses," the post says.

The arrest happened on Oct. 12 during an overnight shift, officials said, but a police department spokesperson was unable to provide a more specific time or location of the incident.
