Woman Shoved, Cell Phone Robbed In UES Q Station: NYPD

Police said they are looking for a robber who shoved a woman and snatched her phone back in June inside a Second Avenue subway station.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — Police are still searching for a purported thief who they said shoved a woman and stole her cell phone inside a Second avenue subway station in June.

A 28-year-old woman was exiting an uptown Q train on June 16 at around 9 a.m. when a stranger shoved her and snatched her cell phone, police officials said Tuesday night.

The mystery crook then fled the station without a trace, officials said.

No injuries were reported, according to the NYPD.
