UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — A little boy's lemonade stand was robbed on the Upper West Side over the weekend, police told Patch on Wednesday.

The 8-year-old had a lemonade stand set up about 3:20 p.m. on Sunday near Columbus Avenue and West 70th Street, when two teenagers got in line and asked for lemonade, police said.

When the boy turned around to prepare the drinks, the teens grabbed the money jar containing roughly $150 and fled the street on scooters, police said.
