Man Sexually Assaults Woman On Morningside Heights Train: NYPD

MORNINGSIDE HEIGHTS, NY — A man groped a woman onboard a Morningside Heights train on Saturday afternoon, according to police.

A 21-year-old woman was riding a downtown-bound 2 train at about 4 p.m. when an unknown man approached her, officials said.

The man then grabbed her buttocks, police said, and was last seen inside the Times Square subway station.

No injuries were reported and the man is described as being about six feet tall and was seen wearing a green jacket, blue jeans and green sneakers.

Police also released an image of a man they said is connected to the incident.
