Man Stalks, Gropes Woman On Upper West Side Subway, Police Say
The suspect followed a 25-year-old woman into the station on West 79th Street and Broadway before groping her on a train.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — The NYPD is trying to identify a man who followed a woman into an Upper West Side subway station and groped her after boarding a train, police said.
The man stalked a 25-year-old woman inside the West 79th Street and Broadway station on the morning on July 9 and boarded a southbound 1 train with the woman, police said. While the train was traveling between West 79th and 72nd streets, the man grabbed the woman's buttocks several times, police said.
The woman fled the train at the West 59th Street station and her attacker remained on the train and took it to an unknown location, police said. The woman did not suffer physical injuries during the assault, police said.

The suspect is described as a man in his 40s with black hair. He was last seen wearing a zip down navy blue sweater and blue jeans.
Police released photos of the man taken by surveillance cameras at the West 79th Street station.
